Michael with the Heavenly Chariot, contrasted by: Sleeping over the right moment.

Michael with the Heavenly Chariot, contrasted by: Sleeping over the right moment. David Newbatt, available from Wynstones Press

In this issue:

  • Rudolf Steiner’s Last Address, at Michaelmas: Why was it so important to Dr. Steiner that he speak at this time under the very difficult circumstance of his painful illness?  He sought to awaken the Michael mood in the souls of his listeners.  We have no evidence that what he had hoped for as a result came to pass.  Will sleep over the right moment in our time?  I think you may find this beautiful address inspiring as we attempt to awaken the right mood as Michaelmas approaches, and as we strive to experience Michael’s strength and courage-giving gift of meteoric iron in our blood.  Dr. Steiner concludes with the gift of a Michael verse.
  • Renewing the St. John’s Festival: Thoughts from Emil Bock.  A brief look into the forces at work at this time of year, and the necessity for transformation. You may be inspired to look into this further, as the Festivals Group has done.
