  • Why is Kaspar Hauser Opposed Even Today?  A description of how an online search for information about Kaspar Hauser reveals both smear campaigns and an attempt to erase him.  This can perhaps be exemplified by contrasting the two images above, the one on the left was drawn from life shortly after he appeared in Nuremburg. The one on the right is an imagination meant to to show the moment he appeared in the square, displayed on Wikipedia and elsewhere, portraying him as loutish and paunchy.  This in contrast to the image of the sensitive soul, held back in his development and looking much younger than his 15 years, portrayed in the drawing on the left.  Since some have expressed a desire for more conversation – even though we stayed until 10 pm after Eckart Bohmer’s lecture about Kaspar’s esoteric task – those who are interested in exploring the relevance of this incarnation in our time of ‘fake news’ are invited to a conversation on Sunday, May 5, 10 am.  To rsvp contact Valerie Hope at [email protected]
  • Portland Branch Easter Exploration: Many of us had been unaware that,  “Every spring man is in danger of falling a victim – in subtle, intimate ways – to the Ahrimanic beings. In spring we are much more exposed to all the Ahrimanic workings in the cosmos than during other times of the year.”  Lively conversation about Rudolf Steiner’s Easter Imagination and contemplation of his art made for a good exploration together.
