  • A Beautiful Description of the Whitsun Experience: Important for Our Time — and All Time
In his Whistun lectures Rudolf Steiner makes it crystal clear that with the coming of the Christ, and the descent of the Holy Spirit at Whitsun, the time for experiencing ourselves as belonging to a people, a race, a religion or a family was to come to an end.
  • The Ascension As A Picture of What Would Have Happened to Humankind if the Christ Had Not United With the Earth: The usual conception of the Ascension – Christ ascending to heaven, departing from the earth, leaving the disciples and all humanity here on earth – does not really square with the fact that through his deed on Golgatha, Christ united His Being with the earth, to remain forever connected with earth-evolution.  What does Dr. Steiner tell us this picture really reveals?
  • Rudolf Steiner on Creating the Dwelling Place For Spiritual Beings In Our Work Together: How to Avoid Becoming Totally Isolated
The topic of our conversation at the annual gathering was from Prokofieff’s book, Relating to Rudolf Steiner, where we explored what it can mean to consciously, in how we work together, allow spiritual beings to descend to the earth to help us.  In yet another Whitsun lecture, Whitsun the Festival of United Soul Endeavor, this topic is also addressed!  See the Portland Branch logo, above, as a kind of picture.
